OIKOS

Oikos is a leading and long-standing journal in ecology. We publish innovative empirical and theoretical research that spans across diverse taxa, systems, and disciplines. With a focus on advancing our understanding of ecological mechanisms, processes, and patterns, Oikos fosters debate and speculation, encouraging innovative and provocative ideas that shape ecological thinking.

ECOGRAPHY

Ecography is an Open Access journal that strives to understand ecological or biodiversity patterns through space and time. We encourage papers to advance the field of macroecology and biogeography through the development and testing of theory or modern methodology (remote sensing, molecular techniques, AI) or by proposing new tools for analysis or interpretation of ecological phenomena.

JOURNAL OF
AVIAN BIOLOGY

The Journal of Avian Biology is an Open Access journal for innovative, hypothesis-driven research on the biology of birds, with a particular emphasis on ecological, evolutionary, and behavioral studies. We welcome submissions that study avian biology across all levels of ecological organization, from organisms and populations to communities and ecosystems.

NORDIC JOURNAL
OF BOTANY

NJB is an international Open Access journal publishing research on all aspects of plant ecology, evolution, conservation, biogeography, and taxonomy. Our scope includes algae, bryophytes, and all groups of fungi, and we welcome cross-disciplinary research such as plant-pollinator interactions and human-plant relations. We explore trending topics and publish research from both established experts and early-career researchers.

WILDLIFE BIOLOGY

Wildlife Biology is an Open Access journal promoting a scientific basis for the conservation and management of wildlife and human-wildlife relationships. We adopt a broad concept of wildlife management to safeguard sustainable relationships between wildlife and other human interests. The journal welcomes theoretical, empirical, and practical articles from all areas of wildlife science.
