OIKOS
Oikos publishes fresh, innovative empirical and theoretical research that builds bridges across taxa, systems, and disciplines in ecology. Our oldest journal (75 years and counting) is known for encouraging healthy debate and speculation, and for giving voice to bold and provocative ideas that shape ecological thinking and go on to become mainstream.
ECOGRAPHY
A fully Gold Open Access journal, Ecography is a top outlet for spatial and temporal ecology. In addition to publishing empirical and theoretical research, Ecography also features notes on free computer software to help researchers analyze data. Each year the journal offers E4 Awards with cash prizes for exceptional review papers by early-career researchers.

AVIAN BIOLOGY
The Journal of Avian Biology publishes empirical and theoretical research in all areas of ornithology, with an emphasis on behavioural ecology, evolution and conservation. The journal prefers papers that test hypotheses or explore new grounds, and publishes them as point-of-view, reviews, letters, articles, and communications.
NORDIC JOURNAL
OF BOTANY
The Nordic Journal of Botany showcases diverse research in plant ecology and taxonomy from systems around the world. Encompassing vascular plants, algae, mosses, lichens, and fungi, NJB welcomes many types of papers from a spectrum of disciplines including biogeography, evolution, interactions between plants and society, and more.
WILDLIFE BIOLOGY
Wildlife Biology is an Open Access journal promoting a scientific basis for the conservation and management of wildlife and human-wildlife interactions. Wildlife Biology has a broad concept of ‘wildlife’ and publishes studies on a wide range of taxa. It features both ecological papers and contributions to the human dimensions of wildlife management.
